I’m Rachel and welcome to my Award Winning Business – RJ Fitness and Coaching based in Malvern and Worcester, Worcestershire.  I help women 40+ stay strong and active.  We share outdoor experiences together, through walking, running and cycling.  We also have fun with everyday movement, helping us to keep doing the things we love as we get older.     
 
If you’re a woman over 40 in Worcestershire who has always found exercise a chore, loathed PE at school or sport unwelcoming or unfriendly, then you’ve come to the right place.  
 
Here you will find fun, friendly and welcoming ways to help you become more active and stay stronger for longer.  Together we will explore different ways to build exercise into your daily routine, keeping you strong, flexible and mobile beyond the typical exercise class or gym.  
 
So whether you are looking for an online or face to face class, activity or programme, indoors or outdoors, it’s all covered.  Why not share one of our small women only group walks on the Malvern Hills, or maybe you’d like to try a beginners cycling or running programme.  Our stronger for longer club will certainly give you plenty of natural movement ideas to help you build exercise and movement into your lifestyle.   
 
I also have a small private women only studio in Malvern, where I run all of my personal training, workshops and small group activities.   
 
I have over 15 years of successful experience, working with all ages.  You’ll find a community of likeminded women here.  We all love a good chat, enjoy sharing the outdoors, being sociable, spending time together and there will often be tea and cake too.  
 
Experienced, passionate, nurturing and full of creative ideas, I can guarantee you a personalised approach whatever your goal.
I’ll also make sure we have some fun along the way.

Welcome to February 2025. Thank you for visiting my website.

2024 was a wonderful year shared together.  We walked the Cotswold Way in sections (one section a month), launched a stronger for longer club and inspired women to take on their first 50-100km bike rides or first 5km parkrun.    

We will often share women only walking holidays on Dartmoor and in Wales.  Many of my small group women only walks and holidays sell out on my VIP Newsletter.  So if you want to be the first to hear about events, programmes and activities, grab an early bird discount or get exclusive access to FREE webinars, holidays and challenges then I always recommend that you sign up to my VIP Newsletter (at the bottom of the Contact page).

Our Events

Cycling

Cycling has been a big passion of mine from a very early age. I understand what it’s like to be a true beginner. Feeling unconfident with my skills on a bike and lacking knowledge on how to look after my bike. It has helped me keep fit, lose weight, discover new places and make amazing friends. But most of all I just love the freedom it gives you, how it makes you feel, giving you the headspace that is often needed in our busy world. So if you’re new to cycling, would like to brush up on some cycle skills, want to know how to fix a puncture or clean your bike then keep an eye on my cycling events page. And if you are looking for a more tailored approach, maybe you're training for a specific event or need a specific cycling plan then reach out to me, as I'd love to help you on your cycling journey.

Walks

My led walks always provide you with an opportunity to discover new places, enjoy being outdoors and all the many benefits you get from the fresh air and nature. A walk is always so much more than just a walk. It’s connecting with others, being out in nature and giving yourself time knowing that you are being looked after on a well planned and enjoyable route. There are a range of walks on offer and we walk at the pace of the slowest walker, so no one ever gets left behind.

Classes (Online and face to face)

I currently offer three weekly online classes through my Stronger for longer club, as well as pop up face to face classes throughout the year.

'Stronger for longer club' launched in March 2024. It's aim is to help you break away from the normal exercise routine and find simple and fun ways to move throughout your day. There is growing library of workouts for you to choose from. Throughout the year I also run a number of online and face to face challenges and workshops. This is to help inspire and motivate you to try something new or see just how easy including exercise into your daily life can be. My aim is to help you feel more confident, improve your mindset, have fun, ultimately helping you to become a fitter, healthier, stronger and happier woman. Whether you're looking for creative, structured and fun ways to feel stronger or you're new to exercise and looking for fun ways to enjoy it. I'm sure you will find the perfect place for you to start. Why not take a look at what’s on offer.

How you can feel stronger and more active?

I specialize in women over 40 with a passion for the outdoors and inspiring and empowering you to be active and strong.  Together we will find the ways you enjoy moving, without it feeling like a chore.  We often play in class, have fun together outdoors and enjoy discovering new places together.  

I pride myself on creating a sociable, fun, friendly and welcoming space for you to share with other likeminded women.

My coaching style is very supportive, nurturing, creative and fun.  I love getting to know you, discovering what motivates you, what barriers you face and helping you take small steps to create big changes in your lifestyle.  My approach is no one size fits all.

Every month my Stronger for longer club, has a new theme and includes 3 classes for you to enjoy online and at home.  You can sign up at anytime and cancel at anytime too.  These include.
