Personal Training

Most of the women I work with are over 40 and are peri-menopausal, going through menopause and beyond.  I specialise in women’s health and I love getting to know you, you’re likes and dislikes and help you enjoy moving without being judged.

Most women work with me because:

  • They are looking for a friendly, welcoming, nurturing and supportive space.
  • They are fed up with diet culture and looking for ways to feel better about themselves.
  • Not a fan of the gym or exercise and just want to enjoy moving their body in a fun way.
  • Looking for accountability, challenge and long term change to their lifestyle.
  • Like the idea of building simple movement snacks and healthy habits into their busy lives.

I have a number of packages available to suit your budget.  These range from £39 for a one off 1:1 session to £87 a month, with the most expensive being £351 for a block of 10 weeks, giving you one session for free.

1:1 PT/coaching (Flexible support)

Not all PT has to be done every week. After all you may be self motivated and just need the starting blocks, some guidance, a programme and accountability.

I'm delighted to say that from January 2024 you will get the chance to access my expert guidance and support, giving more freedom to benefit from this.

To give you an idea of some of the 1:1 coaching sessions I have already done using this approach.
● You've signed up to a cycling challenge ride, you have a bike but you don't know how to use your gears or what training to do. You're looking for a 1:1 coaching session, a plan and weekly check ins via What's app or zoom.
● You would like to build up to running your first 5 or 10km run and would like coaching on their running technique and how to build up gradually with a tailored plan.
● You can't touch your toes or balance with control, so you would like some focused work on exercises that help you work towards these goals. So we've done 1-2 sessions at the studio, followed by a tailored home plan for you to complete.
● Tried lots of different diets in the past that haven’t worked and fed up with feeling unfit and unhealthy and would like support, structure and accountability.
No two clients are the same and I love getting to know each client and supporting them to achieve their goals. If you want some inspiration then why not look at some of my testimonials.

These packages vary from £49 to £117 per month and are called Malverns, Brecon Beacons and Cycling Ready. Click on Book Now, Packages and Memberships to find out more.

Sally’s story.

I have been working with Rachel for almost 5 years now.  Having recently retired, I wasn’t active, I felt over weight and was looking for ways to meet new people and enjoy exercising.

I didn’t want to join the gym or go to a local class.  I started to look for local small groups that involved outdoor activities and I stumbled across Rachel’s Couch to 5km running programme.

I love Rachel’s welcoming, warm and supportive nature and no matter what level you are at she will find a way to help you progress at your own pace.

She always motivates me to try new things.  This has made me feel fitter, happier and more resilient.  I’ve also developed new friendships and I’ve lost weight. Last year I amazed myself by completing a half marathon, 5 years ago I couldn’t even run for 8 minutes.

If you’re not sure what activities you’d like to try then why not reach out to Rachel, I am sure she will be able to help you find something and you will never look back.

It depends on what type of programme or session you are looking at.  I offer a broad range of activities which caters for the complete beginner up to more experienced and fitter individuals.  All classes and activities will be given a level type it’s suitable for, but if you’re not sure then please get in touch.

I have a range of cycling programmes on offer from the complete beginner to those who would like to take on a 100km bike ride.  For my zero to cycling hero programme it doesn’t matter what type of bike you have, in fact we would love it if you’ve just dusted off your bike and haven’t ridden it for years.  For the Sportdivas course you will need a hybrid with road tyres or a road bike.

All of my guided walks are graded, as well as information about the distance.  My guided walks will vary from Easygoing to Moderate and Challenging or Strenuous.  Whilst the walks are graded, we never leave anyone behind and will walk at the pace of the slowest walker.

Most of the Healthy Habits hub we use equipment that you would most likely have at home or we just use body weight exercises.  Otherwise if it is a special themed week you may need something specific which you will need to get hold of beforehand.  Sometimes I do pop up masterclasses/workshops where the equipment is provided and included in the cost.

The face to face activities will vary in venue, especially the guided walks and the cycling programmes, as these tend to move around each week/month.  I often use Norton Parish Hall and my studio too which is based in Malvern.  All activities will give you details about the venue location first.

Yes absolutely.  Most of my clients come to my studio but the beauty of personal coaching is it’s tailored for you and that includes the venue, so if you’d like 1:1 coaching at your home then please get in touch.

That’s fine, let’s chat first.  All of my clients are screened before you take part in an activity, this is so I can get some more information about any injuries or previous medical history so that I can advise you accordingly and offer you the right support.

My guided walks take place all year round, so I will always advise you on a kit list on what to bring for each walk.  The cycling programmes will also need some specialist equipment/clothing but if you’re not sure we will also teach you what is best to use.  For online classes I always recommend loose fitting clothing and something you can easily move around in.
